| | I thought Connor was Fantastic!!- as Michael Kenmore, in Wraith form- in the season 3 premiere of SG Altantis. He brings such incredible depth to that character- who in my opinion is by far the most interesting on SG Atlantis. Connor really makes you feel for Michael. I would LOVE to see Connor made a full time cast member of SG Atlantis!-Preferably as Michael Kenmore, in human form! There are so many levels to this character-and so many moral issues that are brought up.- Connor's portrayal of Michael- as a wraith and as a human- brings to mind his portrayal as "Sim"- in the Enterprise season 3 episode- "Similtude"- which was my favorite episode. What are your opinions of Connor's portrayal of Michael on SG Atlantis? JPrestig |

| Hi JPrestig! Welcome to the board!!!
Loved your review -- Connor is fantastic as Michael! I don't watch that show regularly, only when he's on. He really brings the acting to a whole new level. Did you hear how he got the part? It's a nice story.
Similitude was my favorite ENT episode as well. He really comes through on any acting challenge the writers throw at him. He's the best!

| | Hallo JPrestig, nice to have you aboard. I agree, he was fantastic, I think in Michael he even tops his performance as Trip, which was always fantastic, very convincing. In Michael he was so intense, just wow ! In the season 3 premiere, for me he was able to bring Michaels feelings through the screen, the sadness not to belong to anything or anyone. Do I make sense ? OK he is just a great actor, hopefully we can see more of him. |

Yes, you do make sense, maxi. I couldn't believe how much emotion he got through all the make-up and the voice distortion. He couldn't even use his eyes the same way! Yet, he got the character's feelings through. Just amazing.
Intensity and depth are great words to describe the performance.

| | Another welcome, JPrestig! I agree with you all when you say that Connor is fantastic as Michael. Don't forget to watch this week for the second part of this story, Misbegotten. And now I'm going to get my Thesaurus and look up more words that go with fantastic!

| JPrestig (7/18/2006) I would LOVE to see Connor made a full time cast member of SG Atlantis!-Preferably as Michael Kenmore, in human form! There are so many levels to this character-and so many moral issues that are brought up. As much as I like both CT and SGA, as I see it, if you make Michael permanently human and you make him part of the SGA team, then you lose all the levels to the character and the moral dilemmas that make Michael so interesting. Think about it. It's Michael's differences that give him that depth that CT portrays so well. Michael's not really Wraith anymore, he's not quite human... where does he fit in? How? That's what we're curious about. And, if you blend him into the group, then he's accepted his metamorphosis and you've also lost the moral dilemma. If Michael doesn't care about it any more, then no one else will either. Even if you keep Michael in his in-between state, I think overusing the character would make him less interesting as well. It's much better dramatically to leave the audience wanting more (season-ending cliffhangers, anyone?). wollem |

| I agree Wollem. I just saw the first episode last night and Connor is excellent - I think more impressive than his original performance. The moral dilemma and character portrayal shone right through all the make up. He makes one sexy wraith I have to say!!! I still dislike Stargate but I think this is my favourite of the three Connor has done - whilst he was brilliant in Michael I found it rather ploddily written and directed and the performances of the rest of the cast dire. Connor makes the rest of them look like the Wooden Tops.
