There are no words to describe how incredible Hoshi looks on this cover. If there was a drool smiley available, I would have 100 in this post. And that's not too shabby company to be among, either. Man, I can't wait for March!

Wow what a cool cover!

Have you seen Hoshi on the cover of the Rosetta paperback - I bet you'd like that too

Oh, yes! Show me anything with Hoshi or Linda, and I blush.    But this cover...there is just something extraordinary about how she looks! Maybe it's the white she's wearing combined with that piercing look? I don't know. But I like. I like very much.

Incidently, the portrait made of Hoshi for this cover is taken from the photograph that was used in this past weekend's Stardate calendar.

You sound like a big fan of Linda's. have you seen her in anything else?

I've got the Stardate calendar so I'll have a look at the pic later! So the book will be out in March? That's WAY too long to wait! You know, that pic would make a cool poster.......you could hang it on your wall and look at Linda all day!

I didn't know who Linda was until Enterprise, but from the moment I saw Hoshi teaching her class in "Broken Bow," I was like..."wow!" I became an instant fan of hers right away, for first visual impressions and also because of her acting. She was very much under used on Enterprise, but she's one of the main reasons "In a Mirror, Darkly I and II" are my favorite Star Trek episodes of all time. I'm really looking forward to her new NBC show. Being a cop, I'm sure she'll be kicking some butt now and then...perhaps in the same mannor she did against Mirror T'Pol!

Of course, there are some very very nice pictures on her website, too.

Yes, this book will come out in March, and the second book with stories from New Frontier, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager in April. Mike Sussman promises a conclusion to the cliffhanger at the end of Darkly Part II. I just hope that means Empress Sato continues her rein. Ah, what I wouldn't to to serve her.

Oh, I also helped out with her Holiday Gift. I hear that she and the other four that participated really appreciated their gifts, so that made it a really neat and rewarding thing to do!

I hadn't seen Linda in anything else either. Enterprise was the first time I saw her. It's a pity she didn't get more to do in the programme because she's a very talented actor (actress?).

Yes, I bet you'd serve Empress Hoshi well.......you'd be devoted to your duties.....

There was a pic posted on the forums showing the people that helped out with the Christmas Project - so you were on it? I'll have to find the pic again to see you! I contributed to the Holiday Project but I bet it was good helping out with the presents. Did you meet the actors and talk to them?

I really wanted to go out there, knowing Linda, Connor, Dominic, John, and Anthony were hopefully going to show up. Not only did they, which was the first time they were together since Enterprise ended, but they brought autographed scripts for everyone. That would have been SO SWEET to get. I came into the project late and just couldn't schedule it in or come up with the plane fare (I'm in Connecticut). But my contribution went directly to Linda's gift, which I was absolutely thrilled about, and she loved it.

I'll have to see about somehow making that cover into a poster...possibly zooming in specifically on the bottom-right portion of it.

There is a larger image of the cover from Mike Sussman's site, with the text for it, also:

http://web.mac.com/mikedsussman/iWeb/mikesussman/GlassEmpires.html.

They also have released the name of the story:

AGE OF THE EMPRESS: The Reign of Sato I

How cool is that name? GO HOSHI!!! Oh, and I was wrong...the first MU book is coming out in February, not March, so that is one less month to wait. My twins will be born around the same time, so perhaps I'll be reading this story while in the waiting room. Yeah, right...like I'll be able to concentrate on anything! Plus, I'll probably be in the delivery room. I'm not so sure my wife will appreciate me standing there reading about Mirror Hoshi while she's going through labor!

Did you see pics of the actors gifts that were on the forum? I saw my gift in Dominic's basket which I was thrilled about! It's a pity you didn't get to meet the actors especially Linda, though I bet you'd have been tongue-tied and blushed!

The cover looks even better larger - I SO want a poster!!! I'll have to look out for the books next year though maybe they'll get released later here? (I'm a Brit). I like collecting the Enterprise books best!

Congrats on the twins! There might be 2 more Star Trek fans on here in the future!!
