And yes I FIND IT HARD TO STAY AWAY..........!Well, I for one did not care about this particular story line either (even though it gave us plenty of Connor exposure, if you know what I mean ). It is not that I did not like T'Pol, I love that character and I love Jolene as well, I just think that this was one of those very obvious things to do: two characters that have had some adversarial relationship from day one get together like that. Soap-worthy if I may say so. But Star Trek is not a soap. Compare the whole Trip/T'Pol thing with e.g. Odo/Kira in DS9 or Worf/Jadzia in the same show (No, I also did not care too much about the Paris/B'Elanna fling in Voyager, also too soapy to my liking).

| Even though they did make a handsome couple I still preferred a flirty Trip who got into trouble with women. There always seemed to be a lot of humour in Trip's encounters with women! The whole 3rd season, with its more serious tone and Trip's involvement with T'Pol, altered the feel of the show. |

| | I didn't like the relationship at first, not believable enough for me, T'pol was to much the icequeen, later in the season the producers tried to change this. The trellium addiction was not a convincing way to gain access to emotions and no human being, here Trip, can live without those. Though both actors did a good job to translate the change in their behavior, I thought they were great together, the often mentioned "chemistry" for me in the end actually worked, but I'm a romantic. |

| I kind of agree with you on him being married tgo the job. I think that women were like a bit on the side. And he did have plenty of sides. And I totally agree with you 100% on the Congenetor. When I watched that, I too believed that there was something so great. And it was growing. I was hoping that by the end of the show, they would have some how got together. I do not agree about him and T'Pol. They are in some way the odd couple. The Cogenetor and him? YES!!
