I'd like to see Connor guest on a good dramatic show.  There aren't too many around but maybe Lost, Boston Legal.  I'd also like to see him do some sophisticated comedy where timing is important.  He is so good at that!Remember Hart to Hart?  A Made for TV Movie would be great.

Somebody somewhere has got to be planning a movie with George W. Bush as a character--something about 9/11, Iraq, any number of the election debacles, or maybe even a biopic that would hopefully portray Bush as the ignorant Cheney/Rove waterboy that he is. In any case, Connor is really the ONLY actor who could seriously do Bush without it coming across as a mere impression. He naturally has the Bush look and the Bush accent. By the time the movies come out he'll be about the right age, too.

Someone asked him about looking like Bush at Grand Slam in March... He replied that people had told him he looked that W and that it pi**ed wife off.... (Smart lady I say) I don't see it myself - but hey if it will get him work, I am all for it.

On show I would like to see him on at some point would be 24... And with Manny now working on that show it might be possible... the writers on Enterprise seemed to love Connor and knew he could handle whatever they would throw at him... and it wouldn't even matter if he got killed a few episodes later, as it would give him a chance to show the Hollywood casting directors he can do more then Sci-fi.... something a number of actors over the years have had to deal with...

I'd like to see him in a period mini-series. "North & South" did wonders for Patrick Swayze's career.

For that matter, I'd also love to see him in something with Swayze. They have similar looks* and could easily play relatives.

Oh yes indeed - I would love to see Connor in a period piece. What about a real classic - my favourite is The Woodlanders - he would make a fantastic Giles, the noblest creature ever to flow from a pen. (Although I have to admit I never have understood why that hasn't already been done with Colin Firth in the role after his magnificent Mr Darcy).

Oh I thought about Lost too - a lot of my friends don't like it because they find it too slow. I love it though and think that the intensity of the characters and how their stories drive the show would be a great vehicle for Connor.

And we'd get the added bonus of seeing him all scruffy!

I am not so sure about Connor doing Gollum or similar work. I see him mostly as a theatrical actor and what Serkis did is a completely different line of work. But staying with LoTR for a while, I think Connor would have made a great Faramir, since portraying this character involves more psychology than most other LoTR characters (at least in the movie). There's also a certain amount of physicality involved that I think would appeal to Connor.

With the same reasoning, I think he could have done great as Alexander in 'Alexander' (not that Colin Farrell was not absolutely terrific in that), but I think that he would like the combination of psychological drama and physicality in that movie. I also think that Connor is quite capable of carrying the lead, judging from what he did in Enterprise (with "Cogenitor" as a prime example)
