Maybe it's nice to write here a brief introduction to ourselves, so that we get to know each other a little better. My name is Ron, 44 YO and I live in the Netherlands. I am a big fan of Connor's work on Enterprise, I thought he did a great job portraying Trip.  I have had the pleasure of meeting Connor twice, one time in Germany and quite recently in Las Vegas, which has provide me with quite an extensive autograph collection (and believe it or not, I still have items to sign for the next occasion ).

I am an avid Star Trek fan, DS9 being my favorite series but with Enterprise as a close second. I also love other SciFi: Babylon 5, Stargate SG1 and the Star Wars saga and I am an admirer of Tolkien's work. What else to tell you? I run a modest tribute fan page for Connor called "Connor's Quotes". It is an ongoing project, a digest from the many interviews Connor has given over the years with his witty remarks about a great variety of subjects.

If you want to know more, just ask! I just wonder who's next.......

Yep I have considered doing that. But my purpose with this post is twofold: to tell people briefly who I am, but foremost to help open up the discussion. IMHO that starts with a proper introduction so that people know who they are dealing with. Of course I can put all my personal data in my profile (and I will, don't worry), but that would amount to handing people my resume instead of properly introducing myself within the social setting of this forum. My apologogies if you consider this too off-topic,though.

Hi there!
Ron, it's nice to see you are still alive and happy! I think it is great to open a topic in which we can introduce ourselfs. I consider it very nice to know people on this board.
My name is Inga, I am a 24 year old Geology student and currently write my diploma thesis about the growth banding od silurian sponges. I am also national coordinator for TrekUnited in Germany. So you can guess that Enterprise is one of my favourit Star Trek shows. I also loved TNG and Voyager.
I became a member of this board to be able to follow Connors carrer and support it.
Also, I am looking forward, to meet new and old friends here!

Inga

Hey Ron!!! Haven't seen you in ages!!! Hope all is well on your end of the world. Hi Cole!! Hi Inga!!

This is TMG from the Unofficial Connor Trinneer Fan Site and the House of Tucker. I also go by Darlin' Trip and Triptacular on some sites. I'm 41, female, and a fan of ST:TNG and Enterprise. Trip is my favorite Trek character and Connor is my favorite actor. I've met him at two conventions and am looking forward to more.

Wombat here. I grew up with Star Trek TOS but TNG was always my favourite until Enterprise came along. Trip is the best character the franchise has ever had and Connor has done a brilliant job of portraying him. I'm in the UK and have been lucky enough to meet Connor twice in London - I wonder how long it will be until the next time he gets here?

I am keen to continue to follow Connor's career as I have so much admiration for him as a performer. One day I do hope I get the opportunity to see him on stage as this is my first love.

Hey TMG!

I finally made it here too, while I'm M's pet, I also enjoy Connor's work. His portrayal of Cmdr Trip Tucker was fabulous! Now where is SG? & we'd have our own little SBI here!

Ron thanks for starting this thread, you are right about intro's in a social setting.  My rl name is Michelle, & I'm a full-time College student, going for my Doctorate in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy, so I love to chat.
Just lost my day job as a digital retoucher, but its all good as I now have more time for my studies & digital artwork.  Looking forward to going to Indiana's own little Fan run con, Starbase Indy, which is where I met Connor for the first time last year, & TMG & SG!!  It was a Great Weekend!! This year Dominic will be there & I'm getting excited already. (oops, that wasn't CT related-sorry).

anywho...better get back to studies/homework. Have a Great Day All!

HI folks, Tripsy here.  Some of you may know me from House of Tucker or TrekBBS.  I'm a desperate housewife (lol) in Louisiana.  Hadn't watched or thought about Trek in years until I stumbled upon ENT late one night.  It was in the midst of what I later found out was "Acquisition".....there was this blond guy running around in blue underwear!  I had to find out who he was and why he was in his skivvies, so I watched the rest of the show, then tuned in the next week, and the next.....so I guess you could say, Connor brought me back to Trek through Trip.  Favorite.Trek.Character.Ever!  Connor's even made a sci-fi fan out of my husband, who normally doesn't care for sci-fi, but will happily watch Trip.

Hey, howdy, hey.  I can't believe that I *just* found this place.

I'm, er, well I'm not one to give out my name so easily.... but I'm known as Misplaced at HoT and at the Soval Board... and startraveller776 at the unofficial CT board and trekbbs.  I'm 29 years old and I'm a mom of a bunch of munchkins.

I've been a fan of Trek off and on since I was little.  I didn't really get into ENT until the fourth season, but I'm almost all caught up now!  Trip is my favorite regular character from the show.  (I was extremely impressed with CT's performance in "Home"--that's when I became a fan of ENT).  I'm sure you can guess who my favorite recurring character is... *cough*Soval*cough*

Anyway, nice to meet ya'll!
