I don't think this is a discussion that has been covered - so did Connor Trineer get you into Enterprise, or did Enterprise get you into Conor Trinneer?

Apart from Scott and John, I hadn't seen any of the other actors on tv before Enterprise. So Enterprise got me into Connor.

I don't mean to sound offensive or cutting in anyway, but most of the actors/actresses I wouldn't have bat an eye-lid with if they hadn't been on Enterprise or alternative series.  One thing I will say about the actors/actresses, not just soley for CT, but they keep their images clean.  Kate Moss has been in the news again this week after her drug episode and it made me think that you never hear anything bad or untoward about the Star Trek cast.

However, I would say, excluding Scott Bakula, Enterprise got me into the cast.

I always was a startrek fan no matter which of TOS, DS9, or TNG. When TNG began I was shocked to see a "baldy" ? to run my beloved enterprise. But when the series ended I liked Picard very much. Never thought possible that an actor could convince me more to watch than Patrick Stewart did. But Connor managed to.  I don't know exactly why I like ENT best, Its not just because of CT. Maybe its because it shows the closest connection to the world we live in. Humans with all their little tics and difficulties. So in a way ENT brought me to Connor Trinneer . I hadn't heard anything about him before.  Had to go in the internet to find out who is who aboard this ship. I'll never forget TRIP.

I would guess in that case it was Enterprise that got you into the cast and not the other way around!  I'm like you, I watched every series and every episode.  Don't know how I managed it like, but I did.

Well I too have been a Trek fan all my life but it was certainly Connor's superb performance as Trip that kept me watching Enterprise. I loved TNG but soon tired of both DS9 and Voyager so never made a huge point of catching every episode. Enterprise and Connor got me back into that habit and now Enterprise is gone I will just make the habit one of watching everything else Connor does!

I think Star Trek is what is going to make CT and others famous. Its given them a world-wide status, which is good because it will have moulded their careers for the rest of their working lives.  They will undoubtably get job offers all the time, now they are renowned for being part of the great legacy of Star Trek.
