Whenever I read about Connor's con appearances, it always amazes me how totally different he is from Trip. Connor's always described as gentle, laid back, quiet etc. No way could you call Trip that!

Goes to show how good an actor Connor is!

I met him twice now, third time coming up in a few months. Gentle, shy, laid-back, priorities right, that's all him. I just like the guy...

I haven't posted on here for donkeys years! Kind of got bored with it (how dare I?)

I think out of all the characters (or actors.actresses rather)  I would like to meet the following:

Connor Trinneer (of course)

Jerry Ryan (I have always been fascinated with her borg implants)

Jolene Blalock (because I am having trouble sleeping)

Patrick Stewart (because he is a Yorkshireman like me).

Robert Picardo (because he is so funny)

Scott Bakula (because I like his sense of humour)

Kate Melgrew (because she is so talented)

I think Connor Trinneer (I have to look back everytime I type his name to check if I have typed the correct number of N's and E's!) is probably shy in interviews but I bet he is quite a character amongst people he knows or is familiar with.  Different situations provoke different attitudes and responses in him I'd expect.

See you in another few weeks!

Unfortunately, no. Not yet.

They don't seem to hold conventions in the countries where I am, haven't seen many in Sweden or where I am now, New Zealand.

But I hope I will, someday!

We'll be seeing Connor for the third time in April at the Cleveland Vulkon. The first time was at the Tampa Vulkon in 2004. Missed his Q & A session but talked to him at the dinner where he told us about his appearance at Starbase Indy 2004. Both times, we got the impression of a very nice young man who seemed quiet and shy.

I'm curious as to what he said about Starbase Indy, Pearl? I was there and I don't want to say much until I hear what he said about it.

I met him earlier at a London con in May. THAT one was great. I had several opportunities to talk to him and it was his first time at that one. Dom was also there and it was such a treat seeing them together.

Originally Connor was scheduled for his Q & A on Saturday at the 2004 Tampa Vulkon. We flew down from Chicago, Illinois only to find out after we got there, that his Q & A had been changed to Sunday afternoon. Since we had a very early flight back to Chicago on Sunday morning we were compensated by Joe Motes by being introduced to Connor after the dinner. While we were having our picture taken with Connor, I told him about flying down just to see him and that we were sorry that we were going to miss his time on stage. While standing there with his arm around me, he told us that he was scheduled to be at Starbase Indy 2004 in Indianapolis, Indiana Thanksgiving weekend and that we should come see him there. Since Indiana is a lot closer to Chicago than Florida, we were able to drive down for the weekend and had a great time. We thanked him at SBI for telling us about the weekend and sat at the table next to his during dinner.

We found out later that most of the people seated at his table were from the UK.
