So, after years of spurning 'Enterprise', I've suddenly relented, now think it's fantastic and have fallen wildly in love with Dominic Keating.

Does he still visit here?!

And guess what? I went to the same university as him and was in the same history department, just not at the same time, as I'm not quite that old. I must have missed him by a few years. Bugger it, what a shame...

If Dominic still reads these posts, I hope he finds your "I'm not quite that old" remark as funny as I did Aviva! In fact, I'm still laughing as I'm posting!

Joking aside, you lucky thing going to the same university as him! Do they have reunions....and if so, what does everyone think of his success?!

Going back to your question though - he did a Q & A session on here a while ago and that's the last time he's officially been here as far as I know......but he might visit here every so often to read our posts....you never know! Maybe someone should ask him that question at his next convention!

Hi Domcat! Hehe, I'm joking about the age thing, of course. Aging doesn't matter for blokes, does it, as they're still gorgeous with the craggy lines. I just hope he knows he's still got loved-up fans who watch his Malcolm performances lustfully.

As for the history department at University College, if they have reunions, they don't tell me about them! When I was there in 1989, it was an old building that looks like a converted Victorian house, with a yellow front door facing a leafy green square where there was a statue of Gandhi. Dominic may remember that the yellow front door had an eccentric door policy inasmuch as you could come out of it into the street but in order to come back into it, you had to walk all round the building and come in through another entrance. I bet he didn't comply with those stupid rules.

My BA (hons) was in Ancient Near Eastern History, but his could well have been in Modern or maybe Medieval history. Probably Modern. It was a relatively easy course with regards to the lectures; people doing history degrees back then only had a couple of hours of lectures a week and a whole lot of reading to do, so you can easily get into lazy habits and get an appalling grade at the end.

As for the college itself, UCL is still considered to be one of the top universities in the UK. Did you know it was the first British university to accept women students? (as well as Jews and dissenters. Hehe, I fit into all three categories.) It keeps the mumified body it's founder Jeremy Bentham on public display in a glass case! Eccentric, or what?! But sadly there are UCL alumni far more famous than our Dominic, as Charles Darwin did some research there back in the Victorian era and has some of the buildings named after him.

It was incredible fun to go there; I'm sure Mr Keating would agree. Being at college then was such a happy carefree time. I just wish I'd known him! Even though he's older than me, he may have still still socialised there after he'd left. But he was probably working as an actor by then.
