he didn't mention connor, not as far as I recall. the only thing was relating a story of connor getting a ride home one day with jolene and some stuff that happened but there was nothing about him specifically.

hopefully i'll make it to jumpcon. it's more likely than vegas. After all this it'll be back home to the UK and we'll see what he gets up to there later in the year!

I've put a few things up in my usual con report ish livejournal area.

Dominic kinda thinks that new movie is a bit rubbish. To put it politely and uncensored. He doesn't expect anything of it. He stepped in at the last minute and filmed 17 pages so he's not in it much either.

He was much more worried about his recent audition for Cold Case which seemed to go well, and that the UK sibs need to turn on the beeb and watch Holby City since he filmed an episode of that in the last few months. It hasn't aired yet as far as I know, I haven't been told by my parentals (who record every episode) that they've seen him so I don't expect it's aired yet but watch out for it. I think they film about 8 weeks in advance of airing so it could be up soon.

More stuff on my site and dkemepire.com will be update in the next two weeks with full information updates.

next up! JumpCon

Thanks for the Holby City info I used to watch the show every week without fail, then I stopped watching for some reason.........but I'll make a point of watching it again now! I just hope they haven't already shown his episode

(Let's see how many times this will fail to post...)

Did you do this at the cocktail party thing as well? If so, then I remember you. You sat at the table just behind me.

Yep.  I was the one in blue who'd driven all the way up from NC that morning at 1am. Girl-Bob was the one sitting next to me. By that point in the evening I was so tired, I didn't care if everyone thought I'd had several too many and I know that's what it looked like even though I hadn't had anything.  I had to stay sharp enough to drive back to Hoboken, 'cause Bob doesn't have a licence.

If you ever need to focus your mind, trying to write something on your own forehead with the wrong hand will get those gears going again.

Mirrani, I do so wish I had been there to see that - of course if I had been you probably wouldn't have done it because we could have shared the driving but...

Linsey...

...the only thing was relating a story of connor getting a ride home one day with jolene and some stuff that happened...

Sounds like the same story they told together at Manchester last year... as I recall it was popular with the audience there.

Did Dominic mention if he received his gifts/cards/greetings at Christmas? I've asked before on here but the admins haven't answered

He did not mention this, but then again, we didn't know to ask him, so it's unlikely he'd have mentioned this unprompted.

The only other thing he mentioned about Connor was that Connor was the reason why Enterprise failed. Of course, he was joking in response to a fan question. Joking, kids. Joking.

I think Jumpcon sounds like more fun than Vegas. If I can find the money and time, I'd like to go to the Boston Jumpcon. We'll have to see. It's around the July 4th weekend, and I often have a big skating event around that time, so we'll have to see how all this works out.

I can't believe no one asked how Dominic looked!

He looked fabulous. A bit thinner than normal, perhaps, because he'd been recently ill as I believe was mentioned up thread. But he looked good. He does have a tiny bit of facial hair, but honestly, since he trimmed it down, it suits him extremely well. Sets off his eyes. Wore a form-fitting, long-sleeved grey shirt. Put his reading glasses on for the Moore/Cook skits he did with JD whatever, and believe me, that's a killer look on him.

I must say, the man is aging well.

Yeah, though sharing a five minute drive isn't really that necessary.   Once we figured out the turn we needed it wasn't any problem driving back and forth. More like we would have picked the person most awake and hit the road.

I think Jumpcon sounds more /expensive/ than Vegas!  So much to do, so little money... hm.. time, I mean time, isn't that how the saying should go?

Has anyone ever been to one from these guys...? I seem to remember someone saying they were fairly new, so maybe no one has.  It almost sounds like a tiny Dragon*Con.  Still.. woah.
