I don't understand why anyone would want to meet someone they don't know. All I need to know is that he's a really good actor.

Some people don't like to meet actors. They think it would wreck the illusion of seeing them portray other characters.

I wanted to meet him to tell him how much I loved his work and the Trip character on Enterprise. Sci Fi fans have a unique opportunity to meet the actors at Sci Fi conventions. The only other genre that does them (that I know of) is soap operas.

He is a wonderfully nice and caring guy in real life. I've never heard of anyone having a negative experience meeting Connor.

As the saying goes, "Don't knock it, 'til you've tried it."

I join with what you said TMG2....I met Connor for twice so far and I will never have enough to meet him just because he is simply a unique and special person and be with him it's a thing I suggest to try.

I hope to do soon again this year

I've met Connor at a few conventions and he's fun to talk to and very friendly. He enjoys meeting his fans.

I actually like that I've had a chance to see him in person because I appreciate him more as an actor (I'd give up a kidney to see him on stage! OK, that's an exaggeration, but not much of one! /). He is so different from the characters he plays. He's not one of those actors who say "I just play myself." He really creates unique people who might share qualities with him, but have voices, personalities and even mannerisms that are not Connor's.

I also enjoy attending conventions because I get to meet people I "know" online. It's nice to be able to see what they are really like and I've even become friends with some of them.

And so, at 11 o'clock a.m. on a Tuesday, a prominent politician spoke to Americans about race as though they were adults.

I that is so cool that you got to see him..I hope to get to meet him when I go to the convention in Vegas this year..He seems so cool not like those fake actors..Maybe it is because he is really down to Earth and from a small town

Befriend all you meet and maybe the world will be a better place

I completely agree with all the positive comments Julie, he's a joy to meet in person! Meeting teh real Connor makes you appreciate his work on screen all the more.
