Dear Friends, Acquaintances, and Strangers:

 

We (Bonnie and John)  wanted to take a moment to thank all of the following people who helped
make the Aids Service Center's recent POSADA charity walk on 12/1/07 such a rousing success
($115,000.00 net and much good will engendered:  approx. 12k raised by all of our wonderful
pals and acquaintances!!) 

 

1.  People who walked.
2.  People who formed teams of walkers.
3.  People who sponsored people who walked. Or just gave money to the ASC.
4.  People who pitched in to help organize stuff.
5.  People who brought pocket flasks.
6.  The guy who loaned John a scarf.
7.  People who accosted complete strangers on the walk and shanghaied them into joining in.
8.  People who boogied down to the gospel band at the end in a particularly foolish fashion.
9.  People who didn't do any of those things but answered the email we sent out
     and said they were there in spirit, would love to contribute down the road,  etc etc etc.
     THIS INCLUDES PEOPLE WHO HELD ONTO THE EMAIL FOR A LONG TIME BUT
     NEVER GOT AROUND TO RESPONDING TO IT.  WE HAVE BEEN THERE.
10. People who answered the email we sent out and said who the hell are you, Bonnie and John,
     and why I am on your email list, but were really nice about it.

ps. You might want to pencil in our next fundraising event, THE BIG NIGHT OUT, on your calendars. That will be taking place in early May. That way you have the option of screening out our phone calls and/or e-mails...
