This is part of an email from Lega's sister in law:

" Hi

I found your email address when looking through my sister-in law's (Lega, some know her as Lekha) computer address book.

Unfortunately, Lega passed away on 5th December 2007. She was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer on 5th November 2007 and sadly, the disease was so advanced by the time it was diagnosed, she was too ill to have remedial treatments.

I know she was an avid "Trekkie" and as such, belonged to several websites and forum rooms.

Thank you for being her friends and giving her so many happy hours of conversation."

Terri

You'll be sadly missed Lega......

Dear Domcat, I can't believe Lekha is dead...It was long time I didn't see her on this board and wondered how was happened because I knew she was always here to write her wonderful Trek stories....After our dear Phil we had lost another kind and sensible person which both friendship was precious thing for all of us, members of this forum.

Can angels welcome Phil and Lekha in their light with all our love.

Pennyforum told me the news originally but couldn't post here because of technical difficulties, so she asked me to pass on the sad news.

It's terrible we've lost both Phil (Q) and now Lega (Lekha) in the space of a few short months. I used to talk to them on pms here and over on Phil's forum too.....we had lots of laughs and it's sad they aren't with us anymore.

This is very sad........and she will be missed.

My father passed away on the 23 november....4 days before my sis and i were going on a cruise with him.

It is awful to lose anyone but at this time of the year it is worse.

My thoughts go out to all her family.

This is very sad - Lekha was always so avid in her support of all things Trek. What a very sad year for this forum! My thoughts are also with you Paris at this very sad time for you!!!

Being relatively new here myself, I didn't know her...  but it is very sad, and my thoughts go out to all those of you who did, and of course to her family.
