| Dominic, with a drink in his hand? Really? I'd never have thought it.

| I was fortunate enough to be at the convention and to meet Dominic at breakfast on Friday morning. It was quite the memorable experience with some fun reminiscing about our home town going on. On stage with Connor, both were a scream... the article sums it up exactly as it was. Bad boy DK just wouldn't let CT get a word in edgewise.

| | Yes, with a drink in his hand.. And the occasional wandering off stage to seek a refill. I was also at the breakfast (with homegirl, actually). We were lucky enough to practically have our own table. (We were with one of our friends.) Just the three of us and then the guests as they wandered over. I've never been to such an intimate breakfast. It was /very/ nice. And when they broke out into the Leicester accent I was surprised I picked up way more of it than I imagined I would. I actually didn't need the translations they then had to offer the third person at the table. I did cons years ago but got out of going to most of the events after a while, just stuck around to see a Q&A here or there of someone I'd wanted to see. We try to make it to Vegas every year, but this was the first time that I'd actually seen /anyone/ from Enterprise at any con. (Most of our friends we meet here are DS9ers and I don't think any really kept up with Enterprise at all. We're the odd ones out in that bunch.) It was really very nice to get back into that in a way. Now I find myself wondering where's the next one closer to home! (Yeah right, no one ever comes to the southern east coast any more. )
