| p.s. what's with the whole buying/selling preprint autographs though? why would anyone want something that's basically just a glorified photocopy??
that's a craze I just don't understand at all.

if you do it right, only about 80 quid! Some of us around here have already had a dinner date with Connor Ok first I had to figure out what quid was... then realized that it means $160 in American dollars. From my Lightspeed experience that is about right. Except I was surrounded by trek celebs...Connor, Garrett, Dominic, and Denise! This was meant as just a joke... but it is still an interesting idea... |

| london expo used to do dinner with the stars. a table of 8 people would get 2 stars at their table. we all got connor and hallie todd. dominic was at the table behind us, but he came over once he got bored. And when his napkin fight idea didn't work out

| Oh, that Expo dinner ... seriously a night to remember. I didn't think anything could top that until a couple of weeks ago Funniest memory from the Expo dinner was coming back from the loo to discover Dominic sitting on a certain young woman's lap ... who could that have been, Linsey??? |

| I still think Zoe's face when she came back and found Connor sitting at our table was also priceless. Yet one more instance of 'if someone important comes they can have my seat'
wait... for me that time was different though. I shared that time
of course, let's not forget the bum rubbing against the glass, or my embarassing shout later on outside of "it's not always about YOU dominic" when we all went back to the hotel...
Let this be a lesson to all. A con without drink is never worth it. heh

| | I agree Lindsey... a con without a drink is just boring. Especially if iyou can have a drink with DK! As to your remark of "it's not all about you Dom..." ... I think you and I both wouldn't mind if there was a con that was all DK. |

| The price of this is starting to tick upwards, which is a good thing, since this is for charity. Nicely done, people!
