Apparently Connor mentioned at the Lightspeed charity event at the weekend that he was due to begin filming for the US version of the UK comedy series Manchild. I never saw it but he going to be playing the perfect husband of the main character's ex-wife. I have no idea how big a role this may be.  But hey - our guy has work!!!!

We don't get Showtime, so I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD. It BETTER come out on DVD!!!!!!

If it's the same comedy that starred Nigel Havers and Anthony Head, then I think the US will probably rewrite it!

The UK version was rude, to put it mildly!!

I believe it is that very show Domcat - and I also believe that they are just filming a pilot in the hope that it gets picked up. Isn't that the way they do in the US?

I don't think I have ever seen Manchild.  I hope they make it funny but not 'rude' for the US audience; so it will be picked up.

Can't wait 'till Sunday night to see Connor on screen again!  I'm going to try to tape it.

Yes this did go quiet - I can't imagine it wouldn't get picked up considering Kevin Smith's involvement (was it smith? - I can't remember but Silent Bob's presence would surely sell the show).

Hope to hear something soon as it sounded like this might be another semi-regular gig for Connor.

They shot the pilot in December last year and Kevin Smith did some ADR (looping) on it in January. He said that if Showtime picks it up, then it'll go to series 2 months or more after being picked up. He also said that he loves the show....."it's laugh out loud funny, a bit touching and very real."

So fingers crossed they'll love the show!
