I have just watched TOS episode 'Mirror, Mirror' on BBC4, which I have never seen before, and was very interested to notice several things.

1. Sulu's facial disfigurement.
2. The women's uniforms. (Bare midriff).
3. The globe and dagger symbol.
and most interesting of all
5. The agony booth!

It has given me a much deeper understanding of 'In a Mirror Darkly'. I didn't realise that the Enterprise episode had used features of an earlier TOS episode.

Yeah I was watching that same Ep. and noticed the earth and dagger symbol looks very much like a cult symbol from another show...just can't think of which.

Also the TOS episode 'The Tholian Web' I think is the one where you get the reference to how that other Federation ship got into the Enterprise MU.

Also a bit of a nod to the TOS eps The Menagerie/The Cage.  Mirror!Tucker's facial scars are the same as Captain Pike's in those episodes.

I didn't spot that, even though I saw 'The Menagerie' recently.
