| parisamour (11/1/2006) Please enlighten me as i have only ever been to general conventions and not program speicfic [?] ones.
Creation cons are very regimented. You're not allowed contact with the guests, and at big cons there's barely time to say hello at the autograph table or photo op. They're run for Creation's benefit. Fedcon and Utopia on the other hand are run for the fans benefit. Guests, if they want, are actively encouraged to mingle with the attendees. There's always time for a chat, or a hug - no touching allowed with Creation. To be fair to Creation, most of their cons are in the US and are huge events. And there are some scary fans out there. But they'd have a better reputation if they relaxed a little. |

| Are the cons in the US held in hotels or separate locations.
If the one in london is in the hotel maybe it will be smaller..............she says hopefully. |

| Bajor_Ron (10/26/2006) Nope, not unless they lower the ticket price. Considerably!I must stand corrected, as of yesterday we ordered two tickets to this con. We will receive some nice suprises moneywise(as in: pay raise) at the end of the year and we figured a nice way to celebrate this as well as the New Year is to attend this con. On a general note, I am rather busy with various things right now and I still owe you all a report on Utopia' s last day. I know, I haven't forgotten, I simply have had no time to sit down and write it all up. Don't worry, it is next on my list....

| Will see you there Ron.
I have had good times reading all your reports and look forward to meeting you.
Are you going to stay in the hotel as well ? Have you been to a creation con before ?, and what exactly is a dessert party ?, do we just get to stuff ourselves with puds all night ?. |

| See ya there, paris (but you know that already!) And it will be nice to meet you, too, Ron. I really hope we get just a little time to talk to Connor. I'm only going to meet him

| Well i am off tomorrow, to meet rhylo, and have some fun.
At this moment in time i do not care if i only get within spitting distance of CT, i am so fed up with my other half and his crap attitude that just to get away for the weekend is gonna be great..........will miss my little girl though. She asked if she could come with me.....ahhh.....shes a bit of a CT and PS fan as well. [Do not think she is that keen on a weekend with dad........don't blame her]
One question..........do the actors have photos for you to pick for them to sign or do you have to purchase them ?............looking at the number of peeps on the boards at the mo i doubt that i will get a reply on time, so what the hell.......... |

| Hi Paris I had a look at the Creation website (look under In Person Autographs near the end of the page) and it says that you can take an item of your own choice to be autographed or you can purchase a photo to be signed (I think they're about £15.75 each) Like you say, there aren't many peeps round here so I thought I'd try to answer your question! Have fun at the con! |
