| You can actually view the auction live if you go to the Christie's site. I watched the man win the Enterprise-E with his bid. At first I thought I'd misheard the dollar amount, but no, that went for $110,000 US. One could fund a small nation with that sum. You'd have to really, really LOVE this show and have a LOT of money lying about... ...Well, let's just say that his priorities are obviously not my priorities. But I'd love to be invited to his house!

| | The voyager model went for 110k also! I wonder how much the NX-01 would have gone for if it was made as a model. Avery Brooks showed up at one point I wonder if he bought anything ... wonder if anyone would bid against him if he did want something. |
