| Yeah, just watch it on this thread okay?
Connor has expressed strong feelings about forums in the past. He doesn't like anything too personal to be discussed on the boards.
He also doesn't like the smutty innuendo stuff. (Save that for Dom's board, Lekha) If you're going to write fantasy stuff, it has to be in relation to the Trip Tucker character, NOT Connor Trinneer. He is off limits.

However, I think the answer to Paris' question would be - they would just have to cope just like people on earth would do if they were single!

| | Two things I've always wanted to know: When the ship travels at warp speed, how come it doesn't bump into anything? What's the difference between warp, warp speed and warp factor? Or are they all the same? |

Two things I've always wanted to know: When the ship travels at warp speed, how come it doesn't bump into anything? What's the difference between warp, warp speed and warp factor? Or are they all the same? 1) The main deflector (the big dish at the front) is supposed to deflect any objects that could collide with the ship. Additionally, ships wouldn't travel at warp through a Solar System. 2) Warp & warp speed means travelling faster than light; whereas warp factor relates to a particular speed of warp (such as Warp Factor 6 or Warp Factor 8)

I assume he must distort the space/time/matter continuum and move the objects away. well it doesn't really matter how it designed the point is it looks cool on tv. |

A warp core regulates like a controlled collision between normal matter and anti-matter (fueled by the dilithium crystals) which creates a enormous amount of power. This gets fed into the nacells and in turn generates a displacement field around the ship. Something like that anyway. I think that it sends the ship into whats called 'sub-space' has something to do with it as well. I think the displacement field is a sub-space bubble which collides with normal space, thus making the ship move at an enormous velocity. I think....?

I'm not to sure about the subspace... don't really know what it means. and what's the plasma used for? another kind of fuel? |

| The Subspace, could be another kind of radio wave that travels through space. And as for the fuel, I wonder if it could be better then the ones that we used now.
