Actually, life has been grand of late, albeit busy - the Aids Service Center is having it's big spring blow out (THE BIG NITE OUT!), in LA, May 6th and I've been working on promoting that (and drop a line c/o this Website to Catherine if you want some info!); the pilot that Bonnie and I were in ("The Untitled Hank and KJ Steinberg Project" and boy am I ready for them to name that puppy) shot over the course of March, other gigs and auditions followed and of course there is, as always, the standard issue drip drip drip of life (call the plumber, the cat's got the trots, aphids in the rosebushes, dentist appointments, must-see tv, you know the drill). We're about to embark on a three week trip to New Zealand which we're very excited about and we're getting in our last few jobs before splitsville - Bonnie shot an episode of Without A Trace, playing a street-savvy New York nun, and has a few days next week on a new Nick Cage movie (playing Cashier Girl). I'm shooting an episode of The Closer, directed by the fabulous Arvin Brown, playing a sodden restaurant critic with libidinal issues . . . what else is new . . . hmm . . . not a lot. Pilot shoot went great, terrific fun - wonderful cast, Alex Graves from the West Wing directing with a lovely, sure touch . . . as always, it's a great crap shoot, the networks pick up about a quarter to a third of what they look at, so we'll see. Bonnie and I are elated that we'll be out of the country during the lead up to the announcements . . . . ABC's baby, so those of you who are theologically inclined, bend a knee for ABC. Reading a bit, but not as much as I'd like - finished The Wise Men by Walter Isaacson, about Truman's foreign policy team and the building of the post-WWII Cold War containment policy, starting something tonight, perhaps, not sure what, but only if I finish tweaking my reel and eat all my broccoli. . . that's all for now, but much love to all, happy spring, jb</DIV>
