There is not a way to directly import a picture into DAQFactory.

Sometimes the forum runs a little slow, it might be something to do with that.

The only other thing I can think of is converting it into another format, such as from a jpeg to a bitmap in a photo editing program. The forum only accepts certain file formats anyway but accepts the most common.

If you are using Firefox, it might be that causing compatibility issues. It may even have something to do with a slow connection, which can happen just as much on broadband sometimes than it can on dial up.

If there is an image you want me to post on your behalf, just send it me by email (phil@pajmyork.wanadoo.co.uk is a personal address I check regularly) and I will put it up for you.:)

Thats odd. I haven't had any trouble posting pics. Sometimes it has logged me out afterwards (???).

How strange...let me have a go...

Seems to work at my end. It may be that your image is pretty weighty (in megabites) and might need optimising for uploading. Are you on broadband or dial-up?

Yes, just ignore the 'Link to Image' section at the bottom of the form. Only use the 'Browse' button to navigate to an image on your machine. Then click the 'Upload' button to upload it.

Depending on the weight of your image, it might take a couple of minutes to upload - so don't worry if it hangs for a while.:)

It was not that one so much. As you may have noticed, Fluffydragon has a forum going on on the DK & CT site where we send our favourite pictures. I have posted some there along with Fluffy. How do we post pictures to those sites?

All the images are still pointing to the old site which is why they show up blank Lega. Basically, the images arn't there to display. There is nothing you can do about the avatar at the moment, but you can use the IF code to in the 'Edit Signature' to display an image uploaded on another site such as I have done. If you send me your image, I can upload it to my site then I will give you the ifcode to copy into your signature. If you want me to that is.:)

Now that we have this new Forum, how come we can not have pictures that we have posted on it. When ever I try to import a picture to a post, it says that there is an error and will not allow any pictures at all. Is this just teething problems?
