Hi Estelle! Welcome to the board!!!! We're a very friendly crew.

Connor doesn't pay much attention to his Internet appeal, but he loves to meet fans. He also loves to travel, so I wouldn't bet he'll [i]never[/i] show up in Malaysia!

He is wonderful in real life. I've met him twice and he's really not intimidating at all considering how nervous we all are the first time we go to see him.

Yes, that would be Connor on the forum - the actors sometimes post on the forums. I've been online at Linda Park's forum when she's logged on (it's happened 3 times now) and it's exciting to see my name next to hers at the bottom of the page!

I just signed up today and thought I'd say hello. :)

I've never met Connor and will probably never meet him in this lifetime. We don't have conventions here in Malaysia... *sigh* unless he decides to take a vacation here. Wishful thinking. LOL!

I think most of the actors/actresses smoke due to stress. I hardly come across anyone who doesn't. I don't smoke. Cigarette smoke gives me itchy eyes and runny nose. :P

Just curious, is Connor on this forum? I saw a Connor Trinneer in the member list but he's only logged on once. Is that really him?? :hehe:

Don't know if any of you smoked and quit, but its hard. I managed to quit smokes for 7 months then back on them. Grrrr. Have put a patch on today and making another stab at it. The thing that breaks me is I kinda go out with the boys on a friday n saturday night on the drink, and there lies my weakness, so I hopefully will try and not go out this weekend to give myself a chance. GOD I am gonna be sooooo depressed. So there better be ppl on here on friday, saturady night. lol

Here in the UK, the 1s I smoke cost £5.29, I can't afford to smoke!!!!

Any1 else here smokes and thinking of quitting????

I was a bit disapointed. actually alot disapointed because he smokes. SMOKES. CIGGARETTES.

I admitt I did up to over a year ago but if I had not stopped I would have not survived my surgery.

he needs to quit he has a baby and a wife.

Apart from that not much he is a star and a gentleman. consider my condition( laugh out very loud) Also did I mention my daughter was with me. she thinks all live action actors OBSOLETE. She likes Anemee. She thinks he was a nice man. A long with Robert Picardo.

But CAN we go back to the hotel mum I am tired.

It seems Star Trek is losing Favor.

But for my DVDs

Perhaps I should just see myself as weird (japanese Animee is "normal")

I agree that the best place to look are Connor dedicated sites - they will have the information regarding appearances in the easiest, most intelligible form. Navigation around those bigger convention sites can be a little bewildering. I certainly found out about Expo this year through fansites.

FedCon - usually within a week or two of the London Expo.

Starbase Indy - Indianapolis, IN, Nov. (Thanksgiving weekend)

The best advice I have for you is: keep reading on a regular basis and join as many fan groups as possible. Normally, convention news is communicated through these channels. Since this fanlist is devoted to Connor, you may find some bias here towards conventions that he will attend and we will probably not discuss all the ones that he does not go to.

Later I will post a few links to European convention websites (don't have them with me) that you may want to check out.
