Still haven't updated my expo site yet...everyone seems to want databases at the moment, and they are worse because I actually have to use my brain for that task. Websites require imagination and programming requires an IQ higher than zero - and the heat is like Voyage to the Centre of the Earth...:)

Blackpool......... what can i say .

A lace soooo bad it is fantastic.

I almost got a tatoo...the calling was so loud that if i had stayed there longer i would have had some sort of Trip tat done.

Venice has opened a photo bucket thing for me but i have yet to work it out. She gave me the pass word etc, but when i logged on no pics came up....dur.

Do you know, ever since I returned from London - its been none stop! Hardly had time to myself! I was going to do it over the weekend but the weather was just too nice to be building websites, but I am quite busy programming at the moment which has filled my days. Sadly, I am outbased (or working on site to you and I) so I'm harldy touching these forums! LOL. I'm off out again in a minute actually. I will get it done shortly though!:)

I received 3 photos from Venice last week of myself and actors from Stargate (inc Connor) - is that what there should be?:)

TMG...just finished reading your report....wow.. you had a great time, makes my efforts seem quite small.

I really hope that the Fed Con thing comes off and that if it does i will be doing a whole weekend...[but Connor would have to be there].

I get a feeling that there is a chance that Connor might not do Expo again because his line was never over busy and there is nothing more embarrassing than sitting at an empty table........though i would happily stand there all day talking to him LOL.

Yes, not only did I come over just for the Expo., it was the first and only time I've ever flown across the ocean! I came all by myself, managed to do the trains well enough to get to Excel. I never saw any more of England. After the con, I went to Ireland and spent a week with my cousin and her family.

I was most likely there as well but from what i could remember there was a real scrum for the Enterprise lot.

The funniest thing was they were both talking to groups of mostly women (naturally) and Dom saw an opportunity. He reached over and goosed Connor! Connor turned and said, "I [i]knew[/i] it was YOU!" Then they stood together, arms on each other's shoulders and the flashbulbs went off like crazy!

It is certainly a moment that i will NEVER forget.

I wish i had gone to the party in the evening, someone on the expo forum said that Connor was a wee bit drunk and was giving out huge hugs...[i'm green with envy]....but then i have got THE LOOK to remember.

This was when i got the best look from him. Cos he was looking down to do the buttons up himself and i got in there too, i got the raised eyebrows, the upward look and the grin..........oh i am coming over all hot thinking about it......[fans myself madly]

My friend and I had a completely amazing time. Connor had lots of time to chat on both days and was so friendly and open. He recognised me from last year which was nice and I got so involved with talking that I hardly took any pictures!!! Never mind - lots of happy memories and it was just lovely to see Connor again.

It was like going to a job interview! I was so nervous at meeting famous people, but yet the words still flowed out.

I went to a Voyager Q&A and asked a question. Robert Duncan McNeil said "Lets here it" and I replied "First of all, I'd like to welcome each of you to the UK, its a pleasure to have you" and they were all looking at me and I very nearly went to peices. DC, you'll like this...I then said "I would like to address this question to Ethan if I may...what facets of Neelix's personality did you find admirable?" I asked him this question becuase I thought he might be able to help me warm to Neelix! LOL. I was so nervous though and I am sure that it showed. I shook like a leaf.:)

This may seem an odd thing to say but i think i was less nervous at meeting Connor because with the beard and hair style he did not look like any of the characters that he has played, thus somehow it was easier to relate to him as a person and not as someone famous.........do not know if that sounds how i mean it to.

The one thing that was the same though was the looks and mannerisms. You could totally see Trip in the sly glances and expressions.

The trouble now is i am on bit of a post convention downer. This always happens, because i enjoy myself so much and can not really chat to my hubby about it all. I kind of go into a quiet thoughtful mode. Never mind i will be back to normal [?] in a couple of days.......got the wet camping to look forward to.[/quote]

It was really funny at the Q&A for Conner yesterday. I asked two questions. The first I asked was "What aspects of Trip did you find admirable?" and he basically replied his honnesty, his eagerness to fight a good cause and so on. The second question I was going to ask him was "What made you become an actor?" - but someone beet me to it! LOL. I was next in line for the microphone and I had to think of something quick! I don't know why but I just thought in a panick - 'first thing that comes in your head, first thing that comes in you head' so I was given the microphone and I said "When you're a signing autographs, have you ever cocked one up?"!!! He didn't understand the phrased 'cocked up' (which is basically what I had just done) so I had to rephrase the question "Have you ever made a mistake signing autographs?" :) Audience started laughing!
