Actually, it nearly came to blows. He was so rude. He was sat behind me and he asked the Stewardess (not me - the stewardess) if he could swap seats with me because he didn't like the film I was watching as it contained violence. I was only watching Scooby Doo. So the Stewardess asked me if I would mind swapping seats and I refused because I wanted to sit next to Nadine. Anyway, he kicked up a fuss and I told him to f off! I can't remember exactly what was said but he really irritated me. When it came to having a meal - I had a mouth full of meat and I just chewed it with my mouth open and looked at him. Nadine was elbowing me and telling me to behave!!! Nadine was thus trying to calm me down and he ended up swapping with someone else on the plane! I think for me on Star Trek as a whole, (with watching it since I was a young boy) has inadvertantly infuenced me to a large degree. I think I have picked up some of the common phrases and use it in everday conversations. Can't think of an example right now - but you have probably noticed it from my postings anyway.

I think on the character of Trip, yes I agree with Bajor Ron that he is a true to life character who makes his fair share of mistakes. Who isn't like that? I think out of all the characters, on all series, I would say I was more like Trip simply because of his sarcastic sense of humour and his ability to jump to the wrong conclusion and (admittedly) for his hypersensitivity. I think each crew on each series has had some influence with me on how to deal with situations and how not to deal with situations. :)

RE: The Character of Commander Tucker
DomCat (4/1/2006)

Q of the Continuum (4/1/2006)

DomCat (4/1/2006)

Q of the Continuum (4/1/2006)

DomCat (4/1/2006)
Phew!
