Well, in the few times I've seen the show, they didn't seem to focus much on the home life aspect, anyway.

Well, I just finished watching Connor's performance again. I think Annabeth better watch out, 'cause if they did bring Connor in as a regular, he'd take over! I suppose that could be the Connor fan in me speaking.....nahhh!!!!

The season finale of Close to Home was so sad! I can't believed her husband died! Poor Annabeth! I'm really scared for the show now becuase the old producer of Law & Order is coming in to retool the show. They don't think the crimes that we hear about in the news in real life are that interesting so appearently, they're changing it. So how can they call it Close to Home? And they're not going to focus on the home life aspect either. Okay, so know we've got another Law & Order! BLAH!

Seen it now.

CT was great, a very emotional performance. I thought the whole episode was good and if i had the chance i would watch the series.

Eric should most positively come back for more episodes, he had good rapport with Annabeth, and there was a real back history undercurrent.

Wonder if Eric Foster ever got married?

Wonder if they'd ever write a storyline saying:
1. he didn't get married,
2. he's back at work,
3. he still carries a torch for Annabeth?

His character was great. I thought they had good chemistry.

Do you think it could work?

It doesn't seem like to many people here enjoy this show on its own, without Connor. I respect that but personally, I love the show!:P I have been watching Close to Home from day one and I love it! So when I heard Connor Trinneer, my favourite actor, was going to be on my favourite show I freaked! I loved the episode he was in and the way they set it up, it looks like Connor could return. There's something that makes me feel good when an episode is over, I walk away feeling like I've learned something, it's a 'feel good show'(IMO).

Well, that was my two cents!

Thank you, I admit when it comes to Connor :) ... ! but every time I'm able to see him act, he always manages to impress me more, he is such a wonderful actor. As he said, I consider him a craftman in an art.

Nope! We would call Judge Judy a reality show rather than a drama. Close to Home is about a prosecuting attorney in Indianpolis and how she deals with work and her home life.

Oh thanks for enlightening me. I don't always have a great deal of time for TV - but I'll do my best to watch it. I still want to see "Far East" simply because the World War 2 era fascinates me so hopefully that might air in the UK too.

I've watched "privilege" Connor did an outstandig job, his facial expressions -sigh- sometimes he doesn't need words, he is so talented, hopefully we can see more of him ..

Finally saw it! He is wonderful in this and I agree about the writing TMG! It is very well directed by Roxanne but Connor's performance is definitely the most compelling thing about the show. The epsode is called Privilege.

"mctrip gave me an idea, so I googled Jerry Bruckheimer. He has a message board forum with the WB and it said to put in ASK JERRY and he may actually respond himself.

I registered and started a thread asking him to put Connor Trinneer to work. I don't know if guests can post, but registration is free.

Please post and maybe it will get his attention. At least it might get him to recognize Connor's name and remember it in the future.

Bruckheimer's current TV shows are the CSI's, Without a Trace, and Cold Case Files (and Amazing Race, but that won't help CT.) Close to Home wasn't listed, but maybe the site just hasn't been updated in a while. If there are more they weren't listed. He also does big budget films.

I thought Connor did a GREAT job.

I would certainly not mind him reprising the role! I'd love to see Eric again.

Only problem....my VCR didn't cooperate and I didn't get it on tape. Oh well....hopefully they will rerun this and "Numb3rs" so I can get both recorded.

He was wonderful!!!!!! The role had range and great emotional depth -- no slimy lawyer stuff here. A defense attorney with a conscience... can you stand it?!?!?! Nice backstory and hint at a positive future. He did a fantastic job. :D

(Honestly though, the show is crap -- IMO -- terrible writing for the regulars. But as we all know from TATV, Connor can make the best of a crap script.)

Kudos to Roxanne Dawson!!! Roxanne gets such great performances out of him. Keep it up Roxanne, and make sure there's a big part for Connor in all of your directing gigs! :P

Thanks to a Canadain station I got to see this show,
Yes Connor did a wonderful job as the lawyer, and the ending was sooo great :)

Having him show up now and then would be nice, he would not have to be going against the female lawyer every time.

If I had thought I should have taped oh well there always rerun time and the way some of those shows go that could be faster then I think.

Go to CBS.com and at the very bottom of the homepage is a Feedback link. Click on it and select Close to Home and tell them you think Connor and his character as Eric Foster would be a great addition to the show at least in a recurring role.

Word out there is that Connor's episode of Close to Home is scheduled for 27 January on CBS. I saw that his character's name was Eric Foster but that was it. Any revisions to the air date and any further info on the appearance of our revered and talented reason for being here post below!!!!
