OF LETTER CARRIERS' ANNUAL STAMP OUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE![/b]<br><br>Place non-perishable food items in a bag and leave it (somewhere animals and insects won't get into it) for your letter carrier. Check with your local post office if they're doing it, since many rural p.o.s do not participate, but all "city" p.o.s and facilities do.<br><br>The second Saturday of May is the day before Mother's Day! Make a reservation to take out Mom, buy some groceries (buying your Mom's groceries this week would be nice), get her a card and gift, and leave a bag of food for your letter carrier!<br><br>If you live outside the U.S., check with your postal service or city services if a similar food drive occurs near you.Tue, 05 May 2009 07:46:04 GMTSerit
