What I have been able to gather yet so far the movie is in the process of being made..I can't wait..I agree about his role on Atlantis as well..What is really funny is that on the Stargate Atlantis forum I have been arguing with guy in defense of Connor's character Michael..you know if anyone else ones to join in on the defense of Michael come on in and help me prove a point plus the more discussion of a character makes the writers know how much people care about them

I believe Connor is in a movie called Termination Shock. Is it still in the making or being released soon. I hope he can continue is Stargate Atlantis, I love his role in that.

I am so jealous..you got to see him in person..I am planning to go to Vegas convention this year..I already booked the hotel..Everything I have read about him he is so cool..Is that true?

OOps, I forgot to give a little info on some of the photos. The first 2 are self explanatory :P

The 3rd is the Aotea centre, where the Aremgeddon expo was held - I took a photo of the sign :DThe last 2 come fromthe market that is held on Fridays and Saturdays of every week. I met an American friend at Aotea Square the day before the expo opened and we wandered around the market. The other photo shows a food stall selling traditional Maori food items.

There were other food stalls too, selling foods that are representative of the popuulation of Auckland (Asian, Greek, Polynesian, Lebanese) but this was the first time I had seen Maori kai sold in this manner, which is why I took the photo. It is usual to see restaraunts etc than food stalls at a market. It had a great atmosphere.

I thought I would throw this last one in.

Hi, I promised some photos from the Armegeddon convention, but I had lost the packet of photos. I found them the other day under the ottoman in my bedroom, so here are a couple of photos for you.

Thanks so much sherwood forest maiden - great to hear about convention appearances while wait for more of Connor on tv! I think you will always be surprsied when you see tv personalities up close - the camera tends to add a few pounds!

here is a link to part of Connor's talk altho I asked the first question - it has obviously been edited fromthe vid (or the guy came in late); when he begins to answer the 'stupid' question (what's your fav character?), he is pointing to me, and asking me to wait.

But being so close to Connor, my friends and I didnt really need the mic so if he looks front and down and starts answering a question - that's me he's talking to.

here is part 2, and it is me telling Connor at the end that NZ is stillw tchign repeats and only up to season 2 - he is just about to say "Trip died! You knew that, right? I said, "No", then he made a face (which got everyone laughing and said, "well Trip died!"

I dont think this link has Connor, but photo #22 (lanscape) is me, Joe Flanigan, Kath and Bex. I guess the camera really does add 10lbs as I am not that big in real life, but decided it was about time to diet :hehe: the JoeF photos were taken at 10.30 so we could get them signed as he was leaving early, so Connor maybe on another page for sunday

My first impression of Connor was how slim he is - photos and tv shows I have seen him in make him look so much bigger. He had the habit (a nice but naughty one) of rubbing his hand along his thigh. :w00t: Anyhoo, my first question to him was, "How different is it to playing Michael as to having played Trip? Do you have to do anything different to get into character?"

His answer, No not really, as by the time the makeup is on, he has usually 'found' Michael" He then went on to tell how long and involved the process is of putting on his makeup and latex face peices, the teeth - which were not required so much anymore as Michael was becoming more 'humanised' and how difficult it is to do anything when not filming as he has to wear contacts whcih means he can only see straight ahead.

Someone else asked if he was able to pronounce Maori place names or was he a complete tourist?

He replied - complete tourist and tried to pronounce a few place names, but totally screwed up. He mentioned that this was quite embarrasing for him as he and his wife had attended a previous expo "back when she was as pregnant as she could be and still be allowed to fly" and that they had driven from Wellington to Auckland through the North Island for a holiday. They had stopped in Rotorua, and he had been given some language help, but still completely messed things ups, so didnt bother.

Later, when I was waiting for my friends to get their JoeF autorgraphs on Sat, I was standing on some stairs overlooking the autograph/photo op area and noticed Connor, Chris Judge and Peter Woodward get up and walk out the door. I wasnt sure what they were doing, until I noticed Connor get out a packet of cigarettes and pass them around!! :w00t: (Smoking inside public buildings is now against the law here in NZ)

Sadly, I dint hve neough money for a photo op with Connor and I do have photos I took, but I have left them on the table, so will come back on Monday. Sorry. Had to duck out to take my youngest niece to the movies and took her home befor ecoming in here and forgot to pick them up. :cool:

Hi Y'all, sorry I haven't been around, but I have been chasing employment opportunities and somehow ended up with 3, one during December and 2 starting after Christmas.

I will get back to you on Friday (NZ time) as I forgot to bring my diary with me today. I will also put my photos in my bag, as I was sitting front and centre and 2 rows back from the stage they are really nice 'close ups'.

I see that at the top of the page, the Admin have indicated that no comments of connor's private life. Not a bad move, IMHO.

However, I attended Connor's panel at the recent Armageddon expo in Auckland and he did make several comments about family. Is it okay to repeat them here?? He had no qualms about answering personal questions at the expo.
