Connor was great as usual and at least in this episode there was plenty of screen time for him. I have never really cared for this show and it lived up to my expectations in that respect - apart from Connor there is nothing else to make me want to watch. Can anyone explain why Michael's all powerful, scary monsters were replaced by pretty mundane human lookalikes - apart from budget that is.

Okay, Connor Trinneer's performance was awesome as always..I do have a major beef with Michael dieing in the end, but here is the thing, you don't think Michael would have cloned himself..why not Baal did..and Michael is a lot less into himself then Baal..I feel that Michael is the best bad guy that they have ever had..I like that they showed him having some compassion toward Teyla and he brought up the fact that he remembers what she did for him(he also brought up his true feelings that they ended his life as he knew it..hmm)..The thing I do not understand is why didn't or doesn't Michael find a woman that is not attacked and get her pregnant himself and then he would have his hybrid baby he wants, there you go, or for that matter he does not even have get a woman pregnant he just has to get an egg and well, you know that rest of what he needs to create one in a test tube(if he could clone, he could do that easily)..if you think about it that is what his clone could be doing now (if he had a clone or the one that got killed could have been his clone)..I'm just saying that Michael would have been more careful then that

In Greece at Terraformers convention, he told me he will shoot other SGA episodes but didn't mentioned the titles and I didn't know this new two.

Really quick post, because I'm bogged down in school science data for the end of year - boring yes, I know, but I thought to bring it to the attention of those that don't already know that Connor will be making 2 more appearences (so far) in Stargate Atlantis' fifth season as Michael.

Haven't heard much about Termination Shock either, but will DEFINITELY be catching it AND any new SGA episode that Connor pops up in. Can't wait! :D

Connor is great as a wraith, but he has such a great FACE Id love to see HIM more on tv! Even better, in movies.

Im with you though, I love catching him in SGA.

I havent seen a lot of info on Termination Shock. How bout it?

You're right, it wasn't CT in Allies, although it was his voice. Filming took place when his baby was due, so he opted to be with his wife instead.

But rest assured, Michael appears in more episodes. And doesn't he look devine as a Wraith? ;)

Hi Guys - from all the way in Australia,

Have just started to watch SG Atlantis and I must admit, I quite enjoy it. But I came upon a episode called Michael and I think I am now hooked. Excellent episode. Wanted much more from it though. I too hope very much that the character of Michael is used often and not killed off. Good character, excellent actor and great story line possibilities. Helps too that the CT is great eye candy!! Was abit bummed that CT did not play the wraith Michael in Allies. Or am I mistaken? It just didn't seem to be the same person. Different body movements and facial expressions. If it wasn't CT; Atlantis writers, do not do this again. Leave CT to do his stuff.

We can't get you over here in Australia, so bring on more Michael episodes, to keep us content!!

No specific mention on Joe Mallozzi's blog yet. They're just filming the midseason two-parter and just writing the last 2-3 episodes of S4 and they have a two-week hiatus at the beginning of July. He's not even directly admitting to Michael being in an ep yet. ;)

Connor's S3 SGA episode "Vengeance" will show in the US on SciFi this coming Friday, June 15th.

The Sci Fi Channel, who broadcast Stargate SG1, have said that they won't be showing any more series of SG1, so if the show gets cancelled maybe Stargate Atlantis will take over and that could mean more success for SGA......and Connor! :)

At last I finally have watched SGA up to the end of Season 2. I actually think SGA is an amazing show, there have been few boring episodes and some outta this world kick *** episodes. Watched the Michael episodes thought they were brilliant, CT really knows how to pull the audience, his actin skills are supreme, he really does show up the other actors, thou they r good 2, can't really say a bad word bout them.

Now I here he will be commin back **SWEET**:)

I ended up buying the Micheal episode on dvd. That was definantly worth the price.

As much as CT looks good as a wraith, i would rather have him de-wraithified.

Great news! I wonder if he'll be a series regular? I haven't seen him in SGA yet as channel 5 haven't secured the rights to show any more seasons of the show :angry: So I might end up having to buy the DVDs!

Yep it looks like I am going to have to suffer my way through more episodes of SGA - apparently Connor announced in Vegas over the weekend that he will going back up to Vancouver to reprise his role as Michael. This is wonderful news for all of us needing more new work from our man. I do so hope that he will staying a wraith and the writers won't be finding some naff excuse to make him human for the third time. I have been soooo impressed by his performance as the wraith and would love to see yet more.
