I don't think you received many chances on Enterprise to show the full range of your acting talent. Based on what I've seen on the DVDs, you're wonderfully skilled and talented. Sometimes, a professional actor needs a reminder every now and then that someone is thinking about them--in a positive, non-stalky, non-creepy way, natch.

Best wishes and Happy Valentine's Day!

:crying:

...and since the probability of Mr. Keating actually reading my mash note to him is slim-to-nil, I'll tell everyone here what I've been doing for the past few months...

I started writing an original, non-Trek, science fiction short story in mid-November. It's now a 'not-so-short-anymore' short story, clocking in at 140 pages (double-spaced manuscript format), and I'm barely at the half-way mark. If you want to read a little about my story, there's a topic on the Star Trek website:

http://boards.startrek.com/community/messages.html?act=ST;f=1;t=33321685

...oh, yeah, right... why am I here? D'uh, sorry, I thought that was evident... The two male protagonists in the story very vaguely resemble a certain Chief Engineer and Armoury Officer of our acquaintance... my ulterior motive is to have the story accepted for publication and then adapt it into a script for a tv-movie... are we seeing the possibilities here?
There's a spaceship, futuristic guns, a couple of space (and ground) shootouts, technobabble, some New Age hocus-pocus, and a conspiracy--oh, and the two lead characters, who met entirely by chance on a space station, form a business partnership. Personally, I think it's rather clever, but it's also a perpetual motion machine--I already have a plot outline for a second story!
(...any questions...?)
