I wonder how much the NX-01 would have gone for if it was made as a model.

Avery Brooks showed up at one point I wonder if he bought anything ... wonder if anyone would bid against him if he did want something.

RE: Star Trek Auction Oct.5th - 7th

You can actually view the auction live if you go to the Christie's site. I watched the man win the Enterprise-E with his bid. At first I thought I'd misheard the dollar amount, but no, that went for $110,000 US. One could fund a small nation with that sum. You'd have to really, really LOVE this show and have a LOT of money lying about...

...Well, let's just say that his priorities are obviously not my priorities. But I'd love to be invited to his house!

RE: Star Trek Auction Oct.5th - 7th

So true. I've put the catalogue in their shopping cart twice, but I just can't spend that. I wish I could...I wish, I wish I could, because I'm sure it's lovely. But that's a lotta cash.

RE: Star Trek Auction Oct.5th - 7th

the catalogue alone costs more than I would be able to pay for anything right now!

RE: Star Trek Auction Oct.5th - 7th

Considering the Borg cube went for 80k and the Enterprise-E went for 110k I doubt I have that kind of money as well.

RE: Star Trek Auction Oct.5th - 7th

I wish I could maxcat :( but I have a feeling I don't have that kind of money!

RE: Star Trek Auction Oct.5th - 7th

are you bidding?

Star Trek Auction Oct.5th - 7th

For news of the auction, which is being held at Christie's, New York and for details of how to see the auction live:

www.startrek.com/startrek/view/news/article/28956.html
